Funeral service for Thermon Lee ‘Buddy’ Carden, 82, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Springhill Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers and Kenneth Deese officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Carden passed away Monday, Aug. 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born April 5, 1941 to D.C. and Anner Ellenburg Carden.
And on the eighth day, the Lord looked down on His planned paradise and said, “I need a caretaker” so God made a farmer.
Buddy was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ann Carden; daughter, Donna (Alan) Edwards; sister, Jean Smith; granddaughter, Katie (Shamar) Robinson; great-grandchildren, Kirklinn Twitty, Korrina Robinson, Kreedence Robinson; special niece and family, Robert Gann, Dana Gann, Bailey Gann; family and friends.
