CULLMAN, Ala. – On Friday, Aug. 25, 2023, a detention deputy working for the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) was arrested and charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (marijuana) following an investigation by the CCSO.
Sheriff Matt Gentry stated during a press conference on Monday that Terrance Darnell Kirkland, 28, was arrested Friday on Ward Avenue Southwest, located just a few blocks from West Elementary School.
