Jeanette Posey Treptau, age 86, of Gallant, Alabama passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. She was born in Jasper on Jan. 9, 1937 to Olvis Wheeler and Vaudie Katherine Speegle Posey. She is preceded in death by her husband: Bobby Martin Treptau.
Funeral services are Friday at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Brown officiating. Interment will follow services in Sardis Baptist Cemetery in Trimble.
Survivors are: daughter: Michele (Gary) Knepper of Gallant, Al., son: Martin (Vickie) Treptau of Anniston, Al., sister: Laura Speegle of Gallant, Al., Brother: Howard Hoyt Posey of Cullman, Al., 3 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at The First Baptist Church of Gallant on Thursday June 8, 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and a visitation at Moss Service Funeral Home on Friday June 9, 2023 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
