PREP BASEBALL: State playoffs set to begin this week

CULLMAN, Ala. – The postseason has arrived, and five local teams are preparing to compete in this year’s playoff field. Addison, Hanceville and Cullman will be getting round one started on the road Friday night and the Arabian Knights and the Cold Springs Eagles will be hosting their opening-round matchups on their home fields.

Class 1A – Addison (10-17) at Coosa Christian (20-10)

Game One: Fri. at noon – Game Two: Fri. at 3:30 – Game Three: (If necessary) Sat. at 1:00

Class 2A – Cold Springs (13-12) v. North Sand Mountain (17-7)

Game One: Fri. at 4:30 – Game Two: Fri. at 6:30 – Game Three: (If necessary) Sat. at noon

Class 4A – Hanceville (10-15) at Westminster Christian (15-9)

Game One: Fri. at 5:00 – Game Two: Fri. at 7:30 – Game Three: (If necessary) Sat. at noon

Class 5A – Arab (27-6) v. Moody (16-12)

Game One: Fri. at 5:00 – Game Two: Fri. at 7:30 – Game Three: (If necessary) Sat. at noon

Class 6A – Cullman (16-18) at Mortimer Jordan (20-13)

Game One: Thur. at 4:30 – Game Two: Thur. at 7:00 – Game Three: (If necessary) Fri. at 1:00
