CULLMAN, Ala. – Atlas has been around the world looking for love, and is available for adoption at Cullman County Animal Shelter.
A humble male pit bull with a creamy fawn coat, Atlas has had a rough go of things for his first four years. He is hoping the rest of his life will be peaceful, filled with lots of tummy rubs and affectionate pets.
Atlas takes correction well, and while overcoming his fear of men proved to be a challenge, he has taken it on in typical pit bull fashion – headstrong, and with flying colors.Â
With all his glorious attributes, he still has some things to work on. He cannot be placed in a home with male dogs, cats, chickens or female dogs that are smaller than his stately stature.
The Cullman County Animal Shelter works hard to screen all adopters to ensure a good fit for both the animal and prospective adoptive family; Atlas’ future family will be double screened to ensure his progress stays on track.
Ready to meet Atlas? Head over to Cullman County Animal Shelter at 935 Convent Road NE, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for a meet and greet.
His adoption fee includes DHLPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccines, rabies vaccine, wormer, general exam at the vet and microchip. All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
Contact the Cullman County Animal Shelter at 256-734-5448 or www.cullmananimalshelter@co.cullman.al.us.
Good luck, Atlas! We’re sure you’ll find the paws-itively perfect forever home.Â
