Funeral service for Melvorie Graham Mead, age 87, of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Jerry Hall and Jason Vinson officiating; interment in Center Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. prior to the service.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mead passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at her residence. She was born January 31, 1936, to Fred and Elva Graham.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny L. Mead; son, Johnny Mead Jr.; grandson, Cary Mead; parents; and sisters, Evelyn Powe and Othell Reid.
Survivors include her sons, Jackie (Doris) Mead and Joe (Daphne) Mead; grandchildren, Katrina (Eddie) Tankersley, Kristi (Chad) Spradlin, Jody Mead, Jennifer Mead, and Jordan Jones; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
