James Wesley Hudson, Sr., 90, of Cullman, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2023 at his residence. He was born Jan. 18, 1933.
He is survived by his children, Mary (Gary) Braswell, James (Michelle) Hudson, Jr., Delbert (Sue) Hudson, Craig (Karla) Hudson and Crystal Lawrence; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence (Martha) Hudson and Calvin (Muriel) Hudson and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert Hudson and Madge McCain Hudson; his wife, Isabella Hudson; son, Timothy Hudson; son-in-law, Randy Lawrence; brother, Richard Hudson and sisters, Emma Lou Hathcoat and Ethel Brown.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home; burial will follow in New Hope #1 Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 p.m. until 2p.m.
