Good Hope City Council reports successful Back to School Bash

GOOD HOPE, Ala. – Good Hope’s City Council held its first August meeting at Good Hope City Hall Monday night and reported another successful Back to School Bash. This year’s Back to School Bash was held July 28 at Good Hope Municipal Park and Mayor Jerry Bartlett was happy to report a “very successful” event with a big turnout.

Good Hope’s Sizzlin’ Seniors will also be meeting Tuesday at Good Hope City Hall at 11 a.m. and food will be provided by Cullman County Sheriff’s Department.

Before adjourning Monday night’s meeting, the Council also took a few moments to discuss upcoming holiday events like the Thanksgiving Parade and ideas for Christmas events.

Good Hope’s City Council will hold its next meeting Monday, Aug. 22 at Good Hope City Hall at 6:30 p.m.
