Obituary: Linda Ray Clark

Linda Ray Clark, age 79 of Logan, passed away at her home on Friday, August 5, 2022. She was born February 13, 1943, to Jim Frank Ray and Lula Mae Ray Varner.

She was loving, talented, and creative. We will all miss her beautiful smile. She was loved and will be definitely missed by everyone.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jim Frank Ray and Lula Mae Ray (Jeff) Varner; husband: Arthur Thomas Clark Sr.; sisters: Betty (Robert) Crittenden, Joyce (Owen) Purvis, and Mary Jim (Phil) Sheppard; brothers: Marcus Ray and Charles Ray; granddaughter: Jamie Clark; and great-grandchildren: Benjamin Johnson, Leslie Johnson, Thomas Johnson, and Ryan Johnson.

Survivors include her children: Faye (Jim) Burrill, Kaye (Michael) Alexander, Arthur T. Clark Jr., and James Clark; grandchildren: Christine Johnson (Ronnie) Bas, Cheryl (Adam) Frost, Janet Parker (Chawn), Rona Brown, Trae Clark, Robert Wright, Jessica Clark, Tyler (Scotti) Clark, and Katie Clark (Lucas); great-grandchildren: Colby Bas, Chloe Frost (Shaun), Madison Frost, Aaliyah Frost, Zachary (Ashley) Guthrie, Parris Hinson, Machi Hinson, Zerrion Hinson, Lilli Brown (Zac), Leslie Taylor, Kayne Clark, Caden Clark, and Harper Clark; great-great-grandchildren: Jensen Scott, Isaac Guthrie, Lucas Guthrie, Jeremiah Elliott; and sisters, Jo Rupert (Larry) and Dot (Ed) Stanley.

There will be a Celebration of Life on May 6, 2023, at the home of Michael and Kaye Alexander in Logan, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a favorite organization or help someone in need.
