David Grady Moss, 80, of Cullman passed away at his home on Monday, April 5, 2022. David was born November 25, 1941 in Cullman, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Helen Moss (Graves). David was a life-long resident of Cullman and he loved his community. He worked with his father, Grady, at Moss Service Funeral Home, where he retired in 1993. David served as Cullman County Coroner and served on the Cullman Industrial Development Board.
He is survived by his sons: David Moss Jr. (Mary Leah) of Cullman, AL and John Moss of Ocean Springs, MS; daughter: Kathy Swann (Troy) of Lula, GA; grandchildren: Thomas Moss (Nina), Katie Acton (Jansen), Mary Beth Cleveland (Lance), Colton Brown, Aaron Moss (Amy), Braxton Moss (Cambry) and Landon Moss and great-grandchildren: David, Estes, Evelyn and Serenity.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Cullman City Cemetery.
