James Lavone Torbert, 80, of Cullman, passed from this life on March 6, 2022 at his residence. He was born April, 23, 1941 to Emmett and Velma Vest Torbert. No services are planned at this time for Mr. Torbert.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by three brothers: Dilmon, Randy and Rick Torbert.
Mr. Torbert is survived by his partner: Melissa Cole; son: Mike (Sherry) Torbert; daughter: Sharon (Richard) Sharpe; several brothers and sisters; nieces: Connie Jackson, Becky Anderson and Amie Shipp; nephew: Delane Torbert and a host of family and friends.
