Anita Sams, age 63, loving mother of two and adoring wife to Mike Sams, passed away unexpectedly on the 2nd of February at UAB Hospital. Anita was born to Carl and Edna Swann on October 23, 1958 in Cullman Alabama. Anita was an avid lover of life and travel. Anita loved her husband, children, grandchildren, friends and baby Beau (cat). Anita met her husband Mike in high school and would have celebrated 46 years of marriage on the 27th of February.
Anita is survived by her husband: Mike Sams; daughter: Amy (Nick) White; son: Eric (Stephanie) Sams; grandchildren: Tyler White, Tayler White and Kinlee Sams; brothers: Raymond Roger (Johnnie) Swann and O’Neal Swann; sister: Joan Rogers and sister-in-law: Jeanette Swann.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Edna Swann and brother: Kenneth Swann.
There will be a service for those who would like to say their last goodbye to Anita on the 6th of February at 12:00 p.m. at Moss Service Funeral Home. Graveside service to follow at Cullman City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
