The funeral service for Frances Jackson Walker, 92, of Blountsville, Alabama, will be 11:00 am , Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Pelham Church of Christ ( 3405 Pelham Parkway, Pelham, AL). The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. The interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Berlin Cemetery in Cullman County.

Frances was born on a cold winter day to Clara and Dennis Jackson in Walker County, AL. She left this world for Paradise peacefully with daughter Connie Buchanan and dear friend Samantha Pounds by her side.
Preceding her from this life were husband of 64 years: Harold R. Walker, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by five children, six grands, seven great-grands, two brothers and one sister.
Frances was a true Capricorn as she had leadership roles in all her endeavors: The Pelham & Eastside Churches of Christ, school PTAs, Birmingham Southern Supper Club and the American Legion and Home Builder’s Ladies Auxiliaries. She also was the first woman to serve on a jury in Shelby County.
Frances loved watching sunsets and enjoying “God’s Bounty of Natural Beauty”. She loved antiquing with her friends, coffee, playing Rook and feeding birds and fish. She enjoyed the privilege of traveling in five continents on God’s beautiful Earth!
