Christina Michelle Wasilewski Colvin, age 50, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was born March 9, 1971 in Anderson, Indiana to Leon Louis Wasilewski and Margaret Loretta Hodges Wasilewski.
Christy was a loving wife, mother, Babchi, sister, aunt and friend. Her home was always open to anyone who needed a place to stay or warm meal. She loved using her artistic skills on many crafts, especially making beautiful cards. She was a great hostess and party planner who made fantastic decorations. She was the favorite aunt to her all her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Christy is survived by her husband: Joe Colvin; her children: Blake Wasilewski, Jordan (Brittany Puckett) Wasilewski and Maggie (David Flippo) Wasilewski; her grandchildren: Brooklyn Wasilewski, Athena Wasilewski, Miya Wasilewski, Baby Boy Wasilewski, Liam Flippo, Elliot Flippo and Makayla Sterritt; her brothers: Leo (Kathi) Wasilewski, Ray (Cindy) Wasilewski, Bob (Felicia) Wasilewski and Kevin (Cindee) Wasilewski; her sisters: Margaret (Ron) Reger, Patricia (Roger) Clark and Lisa (Frank) Mariano; her bonus children: Courtney Weeks and Jeromy Swindle; her bonus sisters: Shelby Shelby, Stacy Twitty and Amiee Green and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, loved ones and friends.
A visitation for Christina will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Moss-Service Funeral Home (1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055), followed by a funeral liturgy at 7:30 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital of Alabama.
