Funeral service for Velna Head, 95, of Cullman will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fairview Methodist Cemetery, and Rev. Malcolm Carter, II and Rev. Doyle Berry will officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Head passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Woodland Village Nursing Home. She was born June 19, 1926 to Albert and Laura Gober Harper.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons: Billy Wayne Hudgins and Steve (Nancy) Hudgins; daughters: Myra (Kenneth) Tolbert, Brenda (Scotty) Griffin and Kathy Rodgers; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and family and friends.
