Shirley Sue Garner, 79, of Cullman passed away on the morning of November 19, 2021 at her home with husband, Larry Garner of 60 years. Shirley was born March 5, 1942.
Mrs. Garner’s Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, at Fairview First United Methodist Church. She will lie-in-state from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, at the Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Scott Hagood will officiate the service. The interment will be in the Fairview First United Methodist Church Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Harvey and Rueshie Monk; three brothers: Woody Monk, Bill Monk and Ross Monk and four sisters: Evelyn Holmes, Doris Foster, Linda Whatley and an infant sister.
Shirley is loved dearly by her family of survivors including her husband: Larry Garner, two sons: Keith(Anita) Garner and Barry(Michelle) Garner; one sister: Judy Whatley; five grandchildren: Heath(Selitia) Garner, Brett Garner, Dylan Garner, Levi Garner and Rhianna(Adam) Chamblee and five great-grandchildren: Reece, Kirra, Ashlyn, Lakelyn and Oaklee.
