Sandra Gay Thrasher, age 62, of Haleyville, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Helen Keller Hospital in Muscle Shoals.
Sandra was born in Adrian, Michigan on November 23, 1958 to Charles and Joyce Skeens.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where the service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Brother Nathan Carroll will officiate.
Sandra is survived by her children: Cecilia (Greg) Warren, Johnny (Tabitha) Thrasher and Crystal Thrasher; mother: Joyce Skeens; brothers: Charles Daniel Skeens and John Cecil Skeens; grandchildren: Robyn Thrasher, Dustin Childers, Alexis Childers, Michael Thrasher, Aleigha Thrasher, Maverick Thrasher, Aubrey Parker, Alyssa Parker, Marie Thrasher, Dylana Thrasher, Tiana Thrasher, Braxton Thrasher, Austin Thrasher, Zach Thrasher and Haley Thrasher; great-grandchildren: Annaleigh Parrish, Jettsyn Parrish, Erial Parrish and Jaxon McBroom and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father: Charles Cecil Skeens and her son: Greg Thrasher.
