New eatery opens its doors for business in Jones Chapel

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. – A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday morning for The Sweet Life Bakery & Eatery located in Jones Chapel. The locally owned and operated eatery offers breakfast and lunch seven days a week, as well as delicious baked goodies. 

Owners Rayven and Ken Peak started with a soft opening last week prior to the official grand opening Friday morning. They were joined by Cullman County Commission Chairman Jeff “Clem” Clemons, Cullman County Economic Development Director Bradley Williams, Cullman County Economic Development Project Coordinators Tiffany Green-Oldacre and Matt Kinsland, Cullman County Community Development Commissioner Josh Speakman and eatery staff Stephanie Monk and Kayla Kimbrell. 

The meat and three style eatery offers a variety of great Southern cooking each day. The daily menus can be found on The Sweet Life Bakery and Eatery’s Facebook page. The new eatery is located at 11543-B Hwy 278 W in the Jones Chapel community. 

The Sweet Life Bakery & Eatery is open Monday- Friday from 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday from 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
