4 CSA swimmers compete at Southeastern Long Course Championship

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Four members of this year’s Cullman Swim Association team were in Nashville last weekend to compete at the 2021 Southeastern Long Course Swimming Championships. Charlie Long, Mika Lackey, Madeline Dowdy and Caitlin Long along with Head Coach Carson Glasscock made the trip to the Nashville Aquatic Club to compete in their respective events.

Charlie Long qualified for the 200-Meter Freestyle and 100-Meter Backstroke, Lackey competed in the 50-Meter and 100-Meter Breaststroke, Dowdy qualified for the 200-Meter Freestyle as well as the 50-Meter and 100-Meter Butterfly and the 200-Meter Individual Medley and Caitlin Long was there to compete in the 50-Meter and 100-Meter Breaststroke and the 50-Meter Butterfly.

Dowdy was Cullman’s top finisher, placing 13th in the 200-Meter Individual Medley.
