A graveside service will be held for Wilford Cleveland Butts, 89, of Cullman, Alabama Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Garden City Cemetery. Mr. Butts passed away Dec. 21, 2020, with Reverend Matthew Smith officiating and Hanceville Funeral Home directing.
The son of the late Cleveland and Ethel Smith was a member of East Side Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife Lou Nell McAnnally Butts; children Tim (Selina) Butts and Sharon Shaver (Greg Rusk); and grandchildren Chastin (David) Gibbs, Benjamin (Deanna) Shaver, Shea (Lisa) Butts, Julianna (Tyler) McSwain, Ashton (Josh) Swindall, William L. (Erinn) Shaver and Shantin Finch. Also surviving are 22 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, five brothers and one great-grandchild.
