Kathaleen “Kitty” Ellis, 83, of Crestview, Florida, formerly of Addison, entered into rest Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Kitty was born Jan. 26, 1937 in Addison. She was a sweet, precious and humble person. She loved yard sales, thrift stores, plants, flowers and decorating for holidays.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020 from noon-2 p.m. at Addison Church of God, where services will be at 2 p.m. Brother Tim Dubberly will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Kitty is survived by her sons Allan (Mary) Ellis and Joe (Sherry) Cox; daughters Kathy Jensen, Tammie (Keith) Bowling, and Kittie Midkiff; daughter-in-law Tammy Ellis; brother Frankie Brannon; sister Christine Cooper; 14 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Melvin Ellis; parents Clifford and Mamie Brannon; and son Troy Ellis.
