Bill and Sarah married in 1963 and lived their life in Cullman, Alabama, and they have taken care of one another, their family and many others ever since that date. Bill was known for his quick wit and finding the lighter side of any situation. He loved his family, his work and his community, and his pride and joy was being called Papa by his granddaughters. He was actively involved in their lives no matter how far away they lived, always finding a way to be with them and help them. He worked hard all his life to accomplish his dreams and goals, and he loved living in the country. He was one of the best gardeners around the community, with the ability to grow practically anything. He was known to never sit still. He was the type of person to never meet a stranger, and he absolutely loved talking with and getting to know anyone he met.
