Jeremiah Lance Phillips, 41, of Arley entered into rest Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020 at his home.
Lance was born Oct. 8, 1979 in Jasper, Alabama.
Lance worked for many years in both the Birmingham and Winston County areas as a funeral director.
He loved Fa So La singing and the farm life. He enjoyed genealogy and researching family history.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 from noon-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where services will be at 2 p.m. Brother Steton Hayes and Brother Josh Hogland will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
Lance is survived by his mother and step-father Shelia Kaye and Jimmy Dale Garmon; brother William Chad Phillips; sister Kimberly Lambert; and step-grandmother Katherine Garmon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Calvin and Jeweldean Parris; grandparents Elzie and Nora Phillips; and step-grandfather Jimmy Ray Garmon.
