CULLMAN, Ala. – The annual Vinemont Band Booster Craft Show kicked off Friday at Cullman Church of Christ (4345 Alabama Highway 157, Cullman, AL 35058), and resumes today from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  The event is the largest fundraiser for the Vinemont band program. Close to 70 vendors with an assortment of unique holiday gifts are hoping for a great crowd, especially after a tough year of show cancellations.

Among the many vendors is Sheila Johnson from Colony, who has charming handmade bags, purses and more in all types of fabrics and patterns. Paige Peoples, found on Facebook at The Feathered Nest, has Herbal Nirvana Organic Herb Pillows. These are an alternative to traditional cold pack. They can be used in a variety of ways for aches, pains and headaches. Peoples also has other decorative gift items.

Gourd art remains a popular crafty gift idea, and Katie’s Gourds & More has whimsical gourds of all sizes. Craft show favorite Barbara Yoder is back selling her homemade soy candles.

These are just a few of the area vendors who are showcasing their talents at this year’s Vinemont Band Booster Craft Show. Hand-crafted cornhole games, home decor, jewelry, baked goods, crocheted and hand-sewn items, Pampered Chef, knives and other items are also available.

Vinemont band students are also selling $1 raffle tickets for a $500 drawing, which will take place Saturday at noon. Concessions are available as well.
