Mrs. Overton passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020. She was born March 8, 1958 to Irie Junior and Elva Jean Elliott Gillilan.
Susie was a loving, caring and giving mother and aunt. She left all she touched with a brighter outlook on life and a spirit of service, as she had. We are all better for knowing her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Monroe Gillilan.
Survivors include her son Michael (Brandie) Overton; grandson Logan Overton; brothers Raymond (Susie) Gillilan, Tommy Gillilan, and Roy Gillilan; sisters Kathie (Dennis) Shockley, Jeannette (Danny) Parker, Dorothy (Mike) Weissand, and Nyla (Sam) Howard; her beloved dog Scout; and family and friends.
