Bertis Young, Jr., 50, of Double Springs entered into rest Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at Grandview Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 4, 1970 in Haleyville, Alabama.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov.11, 2020 from noon-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will begin at 2 p.m. Brother Danny Page will officiate. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery.
The family asks that all who attend the service to please wear a mask.
Bertis is survived by his parents Bertis Young, Sr. and Zena Martin Young; special friend Lynndee Raney; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents David and Viola Young and Cecil and Grace Martin and uncles Bobby Young and Jimmy Martin.
