Private family funeral services for James Ray “Jamie” Sweatmon, 61, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 9, 2020 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Holly Pond Cemetery; Rev. Mark Long and Rev. Kenneth Shelton officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Sweatmon passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020 at Cullman Regional Hospital. He was born July 19, 1959 to Rayburn and Armanda Betty Fortenberry Sweatmon. He was employed at Cullman City Schools. He was a hardworking husband, dad and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; his wife Diane Shelton Sweatmon; daughters April (Jonathan) Graves and Heather (Clint) White; brothers Jeff (Tina) Sweatmon, Randy (Kathy) Sweatmon, and Rodney Sweatmon; three grandchildren Isaac William Graves, James Adon Graves, and Ally Nicole White; and family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday at Cullman Funeral Home from noon-2 p.m.
