Obituary: Eirvin Pal Mobley, Sr.

Eirvin Pal Mobley, Sr., 74, of Haleyville passed away Oct. 29, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Feb. 11, 1946 to Edward “Ed” and Eunice Barton Mobley. Eirvin was a cabinet maker and a proud veteran of the United States Army (1966-1968).

Visitation will be Monday, Nov. 2, 2020 from noon-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Sardis #1 Baptist Church Cemetery.

Eirvin is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Tucker Mobley; children Eirvin Pal Mobley, Jr., Lonnie Edward Mobley, Samuel Joseph Mobley, Daniel Steven Mobley, and Karl Pal Mobley; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Jo Moody; brothers Gary Mobley and Travis Mobley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Fallon Alaura Jade Mobley; parents Ed and Eunice Mobley; sisters Sue Gardner and Lynda Sims; and brothers Mayo Mobley, Clyde Mobley, and Verlon Mobley.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Robins, Eirvin Pal Mobley, Jr., Karl Pal Mobley, Robert Mobley, and Eric Mobley.
