The injured teen has been identified by the Cullman Police Department as Connor Britt Laney. The other driver was Michael Wayne Hosey, of Buford, Georgia.

CULLMAN, Ala. –  A Cullman County teenager was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash along southbound U.S. Highway 31 near Swafford Road Tuesday afternoon at approximately 2:30.

Cullman Police Department Traffic Homicide Investigator Jonathan England said the 19-year-old male, who has not been identified by the CPD, was transported by helicopter to a regional hospital with serious injuries. He said the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

The teen was driving a 2015 Suzuki GSX 750 Series motorcycle, while the other driver was in a 2004 Honda CRV.

“Right now, we’re just trying to figure everything out, because there are so many different conflicting reports,” England said. “We know the motorcycle collided with an SUV.”

He said the CPD is working to obtain any videos that may have been taken in the area.
