CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman High School varsity football game v. Columbia High School originally set for this Friday, Oct. 9, in Cullman has been postponed. Columbia High will be unable to play this week due to circumstances beyond their control.

The Columbia High game has been rescheduled to an open date Oct. 29. All tickets purchased this week for the football game will be valid for the Oct. 29 game v. Columbia. Cullman High’s homecoming court and queen will now be honored during the Oct. 23 home game against Muscle Shoals. Due to the threat of rain and storms later this week from Hurricane Delta, the homecoming pep rally and field day activities will now be held Friday, Oct. 16 during the Bearcat Enrichment period.

“We’re all disappointed we won’t be able to celebrate homecoming this weekend, and we know how much these events mean to our students and families, especially our seniors,” Cullman High School Principal Kim Hall said. “But we’re excited we’ll still be able to hold homecoming festivities, it will just be a bit later than we’d hoped. I want to thank everyone for their patience as we all continue to navigate this school year. Go Bearcats!”
