Charlotte Nadine Walker, 59, of Holly Pond passed away Sept. 10, 2020. She was born Oct. 10, 1960 in Joliet, Illinois, to Floyd and Lyndal Garrison Gilliam.
Ms. Walker was a world traveler and was always ready for an adventure. She was simply fearless and enjoyed new and exciting opportunities. Charlotte enjoyed flowers and gardening; everything she touched flourished and thrived. She also enjoyed quilting. But more than anything, Charlotte loved her family. She was a mother and grandmother, and her family will cherish their memories and time spent with Charlotte.
Ms. Walker is preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Lyndal Gilliam and two grandbabies.
Charlotte is survived by her son Joshua McWhorter and his wife Stephanie; daughter Ashley May; grandson Lucas McWhorter; and her sisters Joannie McGill, Barbara Shirley and her husband Eddie, and Cynthia Shirley and her husband Lewis.
Funeral services for Ms. Walker are at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Gilliam Springs Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services, from noon until services begin.
