CULLMAN, Ala. – Crews from the Cullman Power Board (CPB) on Wednesday traveled to Fairhope, Alabama to assist with repairs and the restoration of power for customers served by Fairhope Public Utilities.

According to CPB General Manager Mike Manning, the area suffered extensive damage from Hurricane Sally as it traveled through south Alabama, and CPB crews are assisting Fairhope Public Utilities under a reciprocal mutual aid agreement which is administered statewide by Electric Cities of Alabama.

The crews took two 55-foot bucket trucks, one 42-foot bucket truck, a digger derrick and one pickup truck.
