CULLMAN, Ala. – The sixth annual Jack Aces Bike & Car Show is happening this Saturday, Sept. 19 from 3:30-10 p.m. at Cullman’s Depot Park. Traditionally the event is held in August and centered around the Festhalle Farmers Market, but this year, due to COVID-19, it was pushed back.

“We had to move things around this year, but we are excited to finally be able to have our show,” said Jack Aces member Jamie Carpenter. “It’s a lot of fun with some great bikes and cars. We hope families will come out and enjoy a day outside, eat some great food and help us raise money for a really great cause.”

Registration will take place from 3:30-6:30 p.m.; the cost to register is $25. This year, $1,000 in prize money will be given to the winners, including $300 to first-place bike and first-place car, $150 to the second-place winners and $50 to the third-place winners. Best of Show winners will take home custom trophies.

Sponsoring this year’s People’s Choice winners is Dallice Attaway-State Farm, said Carpenter. “We certainly appreciate her for helping us out this year.”

The money raised at the Jack Aces Bike & Car Show will benefit the Cullman Police Department’s Shop with a Cop program, which provides a one-on-one shopping experience at Christmastime for officers and underprivileged children in Cullman County.

Due to much of the event being moved to Depot Park this year, guests are welcome to bring their own canopies for shade, and the park will accommodate state social distancing guidelines. Food will be available from several food trucks and vendors including Augusta’s Original Street Kitchen food truck, The Wacked Out Weiner and SnoBiz. Cold beer will also be sold.

The Jack Aces especially want to thank this year’s sponsors: Colburn Construction, Inc., H&S Appliance Repair Inc., Law Tigers Alabama, Redline Leather Workz, Iron Mountain Supply, Iron Mountain Construction, LLC., Integrity Auto and Craig Batteries in Cullman.

There will be raffles prizes and the popular 50/50 raffle.
