Graveside services for Melvin Clyde Smith, Jr., 64, of Hanceville will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020 at Fairview West Cemetery with Chaplain Shannon Hipp officiating.
The son of the late Clyde and Martha Smith died Saturday, Sept. 12 at his residence. He was a retired truck driver.
Family includes his wife Jennie; children Amy (Chad) Whaley and Robert (Stefanie) McAlpine; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister Sherri (Wayne) Hudson; and sister-in-law Karan Smith.
He was preceded in death by son Steven Smith and brother Daniel Smith.
