Mary Frances Fink, 84, passed away peacefully at her home Aug. 6, 2020.

She was born in Cullman, AL and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1955. She began her career as a dental hygienist by training with Dr. Jack Vogel and enjoyed working with the public for many years before she retired from Dr. Clyne Adams’ practice.

Frances was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was known for her love of cooking and her gift of hospitality as she eagerly shared her homemade treats with others to lift their spirits. Frances used her gift of hospitality to help begin the Bereavement Ministry at Sacred Heart Church, where she has been an active member her entire life.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clark and Elizabeth Branch; infant grandson John Clark Eidson; granddaughter Natalie Frances Collier; brother Clark Branch, Jr.; and sister Shirley Ann Branch.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank and daughters Susan Copeland of Cullman, AL, Debra (Jasper) Levio of Calera, AL, Julie (Doug) Eidson of Atlanta, GA, and Kathy (Jeff) Collier of Cullman, AL. She is also survived by sister Mena (Jim) Tucker of Tuscaloosa, AL.

She was so proud of her grandchildren and loved spending quality time with them. Surviving grandchildren are Thad Copeland (Ryan Bagley) of Bronx, NY, Bess (Justin) House of Athens, AL, Adam (Brashell) Collier of Cullman, AL and Elizabeth, Patrick and Phillip Eidson of Atlanta, GA. She also has three great-grandchildren: Jack and Anna House of Athens, AL and Lenni Collier of Cullman, AL.

We are very thankful to our sitter, Jenny Graham, for the loving care she has given our mother these past months. We would also like to say a word of thanks to Hospice of Cullman County for the compassionate care they have provided.

The rosary will be Monday, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. and the funeral Mass will be Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. Both services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Due to the current COVID pandemic, there will be no visitation. The family appreciates your prayers and many acts of kindness.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Thad Copeland, Adam Collier, and Patrick and Phillip Eidson.

Ashes will be interred in Sacred Heart cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Cullman County (1912 AL Hwy. 157, Cullman 35055) or St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank of Sacred Heart Catholic Church (205 Third Ave. SE, Cullman 35055).
