CULLMAN, Ala. – An employee of the Cullman County Road Department suffered minor injuries Monday morning while working as a flagger along County Road 222 near the Country Mall.

“We had a guy that was flagging, and actually, a car was stopped. He had the traffic stopped; there was one car sitting there,” said Cullman County Commissioner Gary Marchman. “There was a pickup that ran into the back of the car that was sitting there, and it ran into him.”

Marchman said the employee suffered minor injuries.

“It banged him up a little bit, but nothing major,” he said. “He’s supposed to go back to the doctor in a couple of day and get cleared to come back to work.”
