HANCEVILLE, Ala. – Fifteen Wallace State Community College students have been chosen to serve as Wallace State Ambassadors for the 2020-2021 academic year to serve as representatives of the college during campus and community events. Ambassadors also help give tours of the college to prospective students.
Students chosen to serve as WSCC Ambassadors for 2020-2021 include: Hadley Andrews and Marlen Leon, both of Gardendale; Turner Appleton of Owens Cross Roads; Jakyria Dennis of Montgomery; Hunter Fields of Double Springs; Destinee Flowers of Hanceville; Bailey Grant of Warrior; Alexander Hamilton of Falkville; Eli Johnson and Preston Key, both of Hayden; Monzerrath Mondragon of Trafford; McKenzie Reid of Haleyville; Cade Taylor of Double Springs; and Ethan Wideman and Gavin Wideman, both of Jasper.
“We are happy to welcome these students to serve as Wallace State Ambassadors,” said sponsor Jon Stephenson, director of Student Engagement at Wallace State. “We look forward to working with them as they represent the college and welcome new students and visitors.”
Students interested in serving as ambassadors fill out applications in order to be chosen to serve. Ambassadors earn a scholarship and gain valuable leadership and volunteer experience while making new friends and participating in many exciting events.
