Dayden Michael Floyd, 16, of Blountsville passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 as a result of an automobile accident. Dayden was born May 6, 2003 in Cullman the son of Derek Floyd and Brandy Daniel Floyd.
He was a student at Holly Pond High School, played on the baseball team and attended the Cullman County Trade School where he was learning to be a welder. He enjoyed mowing.
Dayden is survived by his parents Derek and Brandy Floyd of Blountsville; sister Makayla Parker of Blountsville; grandparents Michael and Sheila Floyd of Blountsville and Nora Johnson of Holly Pond; great grandparents Earl Floyd of Blountsville and Frances Brumbelow of Cullman; aunts and uncles Patrick Mosley (Erin) of Cullman, Daniel Mosley (Ashley) of Cullman, Tyler Smith of Blountsville and Sissy McGinnis (Johnathon) of Cullman; great aunt Shirley Sherrell (Larry) of Blountsville; and a host of cousins and many dear friends.
Private graveside services were held Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the Mt. Hebron Cemetery with Neal Whited officiating.
