CULLMAN, Ala. – Cullman County Board of Education (CCBOE) Superintendent Dr. Shane Barnette announced Tuesday that the system’s student feeding program, temporarily suspended as the state of Alabama entered the predicted peak period of COVID-19, will resume Thursday, April 30.

Food distribution has been reduced to one day per week, with a week’s worth of meals and food items being given out at that time. Distribution will take place from 10 a.m.-noon at the same locations as before: Fairview, Good Hope, Hanceville, Holly Pond, Vinemont and West Point High Schools, and at Harmony School.

Barnette told The Tribune, “I am thankful for such a dedicated CNP staff that leads the food distribution and all the employees that volunteer to serve our community.”
