Head chef and owner Kyle Spears also took the time to announce some changes to the restaurant coming after the business fully reopens.

“When we come back full force, we will be dropping the weekend dinnertime hours,” he wrote on the cafe’s Facebook page.

“There wasn’t ever enough business in general to warrant the cost of having an extra shift. I know some folks really enjoyed our ribeye steaks and schnitzels, but they didn’t sell enough to even cover the overhead. We will continue to offer delicious homemade breakfast platters, burgers, sandwiches and more- that won’t change. We will still continue to offer dinnertime hours for certain special events such as Oktoberfest, street festivals, St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, etc. And during those times I will serve up some favorite’s such as the steaks, schnitzels and others.”

Customers who want to do takeout orders will need to call ahead at 256-734-9958 to place their orders, and they can pay over the phone with cards.
