Private graveside services for Gene Wilson Lamar, 82, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Cullman Memory Gardens, Dr. Mickey Jett officiating.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Lamar passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1937 to Frank and Rosa Mae Elkins Lamar. He was a member of Living Faith Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Jerry, Jackie, and Paul; and sister Tava Baird.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Shirley Lamar; sons Rick (Renee) Lamar and Randy (Valerie) Lamar; daughter Nanette Lamar (Mickey) Jett; brothers Dale Lamar, Phillip Lamar, Richard Lamar, and David Lamar; sisters Mary Jo Whaley, Paula Mitchell, and Sarah Hudson; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; family and friends.
