John Frank Sutton, 69, of Double Springs entered into rest Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 at Lakeland Community Hospital.
Mr. Sutton was born July 28, 1950 in Moulton, Alabama. Until his retirement, he worked as a logger.
The family will have a memorial service at noon Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Mountain Springs Missionary Baptist Church in the Bankhead National Forest. Brother James Johnson will officiate.
Mr. Sutton is survived by his daughters Jennifer Steinbrecher and her husband Chuck and Johnna Benefield and her husband Lee; stepchildren Amanda Handley, Jeremy Herron and Patrick Herron; sister Christeen Adams and her husband Jr.; and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Dovie Lee Sutton; sisters Ellen Johnson and Helen Grissom; and brother James Sutton.
