Funeral services for Jimmy Wade Parker, 88, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at Spirit Life Church of God. The Reverend Wayne Barnette will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 21, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Parker passed from this life Feb. 18, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. He was born June 7, 1931 to James Richard and Thursey Idella Parker.
He was a member of the Bread of Life Church of God. He served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Carma Caroline Parker; brothers and sisters.
Mr. Parker is survived by his daughters Robin (Jeff) Amos, Brenda (Wayne) Barnette; grandchildren Jacob (Deanna) Stewart, Micah (Jacob) Brannon, Candase (Justin) Wilkins, and Dustin (Tiffany) Barnette; great-grandchildren Carter Stewart, Grayson Stewart, Sadie Brannon, Max Brannon, Eva Brannon, Emmalyn Wilkins, Finlee Wilkins, Jorryn Barnette, Tylyn Barnette, Ashlyn Aldridge and Carolynn Barnette; and family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made to Bread of Life Church (P.O. Box 55, Holly Pond, Alabama 35083) for the purchase of a flag and flag pole at the new church.
