Funeral services for Mary Charlotte Guthery, 65, of Hanceville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 at the chapel of Hanceville Funeral Home with interment following at Hopewell Cemetery. Mary’s family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:30-8 p.m.
An assistant superintendent with the City of Cullman, she was born to the late Edward and Alba Shannon Scheinert June 7, 1954 in Cullman and passed Dec. 23, 2019 in Cullman.
She leaves behind her husband Herbert Guthery; sons John (Loree) Guthery and Kenneth (Candice) Guthery; grandchildren Trey, Paige, Trinity Grace, Logan Shane, Patience Grace Guthery, Haley Watson, Chandler and Kingsley Brown; great-grandchildren are Kaylyx Layklyn Guthery and Aurora and Sebastian Watson. Also surviving are sisters Pat Smith, Marie Peppers and Gail Pope; and several nephews and nieces.
