Funeral services for Velma Louise Jacobs, 90, of Hanceville will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at the Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation for friends is Saturday, Nov. 23 from 1-2 p.m. Officiating will be Reverend Samuel Tucker. Final disposition will be at the Bethsadia Baptist Cemetery, Cullman, Alabama.
Mrs. Jacobs was a self-employed farmer and homemaker.
Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her son Larry Edward Jacobs of Ellabelle, Georgia; daughter Rebecca Eloise Sprowl of Hanceville; sisters Mary Hughes, of Hanceville and Doris Briscoe, of Gardendale, Alabama; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jacobs is preceded in death by her husband Luther Jacobs; sons Mancel, Harold and Timothy Jacobs; sisters Clara Starnes, Cleo Herndon and Vivian Graham; and brothers Dewey, Clifford and Leonard Hutson.
