Funeral Service for Margaret Roseberry Wood will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 2019 at Smith Lake Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 10-11 a.m. prior to the funeral, Rev. Charles Johnson and Rev. Jimmy McClendon officiating, with interment in the Bethany Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood went to be with the Lord Oct. 23, 2019 at the age of 80.
She was born Margaret Blake Roseberry on Oct. 8, 1939 to James Julius Roseberry and Thelma Hilton Roseberry.
She is survived by her son – James (Bejeana) Wood; her daughter – Amy Wood; three sisters – Jane Williams, Edna Becker, and Susan (Phil) Carpenter; six grandchildren – Barrett Hudson, Zachary Wood, Ethan Wood, Gabriel Wood, Jessica (Cody) Harrison, and Blake (Savanah) Wood.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Her Husband – Rev. Paul H. Wood; one son – Paul Henry “Chip” Wood Jr.; one sister – Chaffin McCall.
Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Smith Lake Baptist Church.
