Kenneth Wayne Shugart, 69, of Haleyville entered into rest Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 at his residence.
Mr. Shugart was born Oct. 1, 1950 in Tucson, Arizona. He was a member of the U.S. Army for four years and a member of Solid Rock Church. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandkids. He loved watching Oklahoma Sooners Football, watching the Yankees play baseball and the Dallas Cowboys.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Brother Benny Knight officiating.
Kenneth is survived by his sons, Wayne (Ginger) Cryer and Randall Shugart; daughters, Kenda (Wes) Watts, Natasha Herring and honorary daughter, Tina (Jonathan) Newell; brother, John (Donna) Shugart; sisters, Judy Clark and Kathy (Mark) Kingsolver; he was PeePaw to 10 grandchildren, Macie McReynolds, Hayden Edwards, Ella Cryer, Billy Watts, Jesse Watts, Cason Watts, Bella Watts, Sarah Herring, Emma Herring and Isaac Newell and three great grandchildren, Kara McReynolds, Mikey McReynolds and Alexis McReynolds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Hazel Shugart and sister, Karen Shugart.
