Cullman County Republican Party Monthly Meeting

The Cullman County Republican Party hosts monthly meetings on the first Saturday of each month at the Cullman Elks Lodge, 1609 Brantley Ave. NW, Cullman.

7:30 a.m.- Breakfast ($5); 8 a.m.- Meeting begins (free)

October’s special guest speakers will be: Probate Judge Tammy Brown, Tax Commissioner Barry Willingham and Neil Morrison, director of The Sanctuary at the Woodlands.

The Haunt at Camp Liberty

7 p.m. until midnight at Camp Liberty near the Battleground community, 15719 Alabama Highway 157, Vinemont, AL 35179

Suggested for ages 13 and older

Tickets for the trail are $16; A ticket package is available for $20, which includes the trail, souvenir dog tag and six tickets for games and “very weird” prizes at the creepy carnival. Military personnel get a $2 discount.

Camp Liberty warns this event is “a fully-immersive, physically-active, intense, military-themed haunt in north Alabama. This is NOT your standard walk-through haunt. Be sure to wear clothing and shoes that can get dirty. These attractions are suggested for ages 13 and up.”
