Funeral services for James T. Jones, 73, of Blountsville, Alabama, will be 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 5, 2019 at Hanceville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in West Point, Alabama. His family will start welcoming friends for a visitation beginning at 5:30 p.m. Friday Oct. 4, 2019 at the funeral home.
Mr. Jones was a long-time brick mason and was also self-employed for years. He leaves behind a great and wonderful loving family.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Maria Jones; children, Sharron Jones (Mark Dabbs), Regina Nix, Charlene (Tony) Price, Rhonda (Frankie) Peek, David Jones, Teresa Jones, and Joe (Liz) Eveland; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Quick and Lenita Bynum; and two brothers, Johnny Wayne Jones and Harold Jones.
Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his parents Johnny Clyde and Una Christine (Williams) Jones; also three brothers; Meryl, Darrel, and Martin Jones.
