David Irvin Hill, 55, of Houston, formerly of Arley, entered into rest Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
David was born Dec. 14, 1963 in Haleyville Alabama. He was a longtime member of Arley Congregational Church. David had a great love for God. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outside in our Lord’s creation. David loved spending time with his nephews and niece. He was a man with a great big heart for everyone, especially his loving mother. David was loved by a host of other special nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He will be dearly missed by us all.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 9, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. at Arley Congregational Church in Arley. He will lie in state Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. at Arley Congregational Church where services will be held at 2 p.m. Reverend Robert Partridge and Reverend Bobby Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
David is survived by his loving mother, Lois Fay Partridge Hill; twin brother, Dean (Cindy) Hill; brothers, Calvin (Peggy) Hill, Lonnie Hill and Onnie Hill; sisters, Eva (Billy) Barnes, and Meletha (Bill) Bailey; special nephews, Landon Barnes, Austin Barnes; and special niece, Haley Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Junior Hill; grandparents, William Riley and Vera Mae Hill, Dewey and Ermie Partridge.
